The XYZ Stepper Driver Board:
The Parallel Port Interface Board:
- interfaces the 3-Axis Stepper Driver board to your PC's parallel port using a standard (user-supplied) DB25 extension cable
- has on-board 5V regulator (you supply external unregulated DC of 9 to 12V at 0.5A)
- you supply appropriate motor voltage to the driver board (Caution! switch motor voltage on only after your PC is running!)
- mates with the 50-pin connector of the driver board, above
- information and PC driver shareware for implementing a CNC machine available here
- DeskNC for DOS and other useful software are available here
- for a hands-on project, refer to the four-part CNC article in Nuts & Volts magazine (starting with the May 99 issue)
- schematic diagram included
